Six Bells Folk & Blues Club Chiddingly No club could exist without a dedicated core of regular artists who come and sing or play most weeks. - As a tribute to those who have helped make the club what it is today We have listed some of our stalwarts below. Thanks Guys & Gals! Liz Harman - Now a regular performer and presenter of the folk and blues evenings, seen here with Tom and Rowan. Liz writes her own songs and is a rising star of the future. Chris Mansell - Original founder of the club. A very fine guitarist with a unique style and sense of humour. Chris Swaddling - Harmonica player and occasional singer - if you are looking for some accompaniment talk to Chris. Dave Green - An exceptional musician with a gravely voice. His improvised steel guitar playing is the ideal backing for many visiting artists. Dave Dyke - Traditional and lyrical songs. He also runs the White Horse Folk Club Jim Best & Vicky Hewerdine - As well as being part of a very impressive punk band, Vicky and Jim are both singer song-writers. Jim has an interesting staccato style, while Vicky's songs are personal and thought provoking. Kirsty & Mitch Ewart - A mother and daughter team singing mostly unaccompanied traditional songs. "Loft" Longhurst - If you enjoy Paxton, Dylan or skiffle you will enjoy listening to Loft. Mark Wellgate - Piano, concertina on which he can play boogie, also our resident poet. Ryan Mawer - Ryan writes his own material and is a very accomplished guitarist. Simon Watt - A mixed bag of songs some humourous Terry Lees - A very welcome regular visitor. Virtuoso guitarist. Prepare to be impressed Tim Kent - Tim is a regular guest presenter and folk record producer, is very well known on the Sussex Folk scene.
