Performance tips for new players

Six Bells Folk & Blues Club Chiddingly 2003 Programme This year the committee have decided to keep most evenings free for floor spots and to have only one booked act each quarter, plus a quarterly theme night. If anyone would like to do an extended spot on a night where there in no theme or booked act please talk to us. Some of these dates may change - keep checking the website. 14th January - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 28th January - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 11th February - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 25th February - Guest Artists Maartin Alcock & Gilly Darbey.... This is an amazing double bill. Gilly played here last year and completely captivated the audience, now she's back with Maartin Alcock of Fairport Convention and Jethro Tull fame - Floor spots between 8:30 and 9:00 only - arrive early or you might not get in. 11th March - 50's Theme Night - this evening will be limited to songs of the 1950's all players and singers welcome. 25th March - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 8th April - Guest Night - Ben Paley and Tab Hunter an evening of Swedish Bluegrass, follow the link to thier website for a proper explanation.. 22nd April - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 6th May - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 20th May - - Beatles theme night - come and play your favorite songs by the Beatles or any members of the "Fab Four" in their later careers. (What a night it was last time see the pictures supplied by Hratch) 3rd June - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 17th June - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 1st July - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 15th July - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 29th July - Singer Songwriters Theme Night - Now is the time to sing those songs you have written yourselves - all players and singers welcome. 12th August - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 26th August - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 9th September - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 23rd September - CHIDDINGLY FESTIVAL FOLK NIGHT - Starring Ted Humphries 7th October - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 21st October - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 6th November - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 18th November - Dylan theme night - come and play your favourite Dylan songs to celebrate the fact that the great Bob is now 62. This event was one of the real hits of 2002 make sure you don't miss it. 2nd December - Singers Night all players and singers welcome. 16th December - The Six Bells Folk & Blues Club Christmas Party - Wonderful Music - Huge Charity Raffle Prizes - Great Food - players and singers welcome. 30th December - To be advised.
